Finally, there is a clever and flexible solution for providing stable and secure ballasting for temporary structures for lighting, sound, stage technology, as well as trusses at events: the event block from SwissBlock®.

In the event industry, fast assembly and disassembly, safe construction and maximum flexibility are crucial. Whether light towers, PA towers, LED walls, ground supports or entrance portals: every event has specific requirements in terms of stability and logistics.

This is precisely where the event block comes into play: a monolithic element made of high-strength concrete that was specially developed for the requirements of the event industry. Originally conceived as a one-off customer project, the event block quickly found favor. Based on a well-thought-out formwork system combined with several galvanized steel components cast into the concrete, an extremely flexible and versatile solution was created.

This is what characterizes the event block:

• High stability and safety: the event block serves as constructive ballast for a variety of temporary structures and can be used individually or stacked.
• Maximum flexibility: cross-shaped anchor rails make it easy to assemble and disassemble crossbeam systems from different manufacturers.
• Easy handling: The block masses are optimally designed for truck transport. Fork guides or recesses ensure easy loading and flexible placement at the point of use using a forklift or pallet truck. Spindle feet also allow for easy and precise leveling.
• Durable and sustainable: the event block is reusable an unlimited number of times and is particularly durable thanks to its robust construction.
