What are trusses?

Trusses are stable but lightweight trusses made of aluminum, with which you can create solid, load-bearing constructions. Concert or podium stages, trade fair stands, elements for event locations - trusses are always used when stable, temporary constructions are required. Although they vary greatly in their design, they are all equipped with a simple conical connection system. This makes assembly intuitive, fast and safe. In this way, you can create small and large stable installations from robust aluminum in no time at all.

What do I use truss hooks and clamps for?

Depending on the function and project requirements, you can choose between single, double, triple and 4 point trusses. Each of these has its own special area of application. Truss hooks and clamps are used wherever individual components are connected, equipment and technology are fixed or stage elements are added. With truss clamps and hooks, you can fasten all other components securely, quickly and reliably to the chord poles.

How do I use truss hooks?

Among the hooks and clamps for trusses there are various models and designs - depending on what you want to fix with them.

Hooks for 1 point trusses

1 point trusses are poles that act as supports, struts or connecting parts. With various types of truss hooks, you attach other holding or supporting rods, spotlights, light stage elements, curtains or rollups to them.

2 point trusses: Now the going gets tough

With two-point beams you build simple, lightweight structures that are stable and loadable. You can use truss hooks to attach lightweight fabric panels and lights to such a simple support structure.

Three-point beam: Truss clamps hold everything here

With 3 point trusses you build up spatial shapes and design robust corners. This is how you build medium-sized exhibition stands and small stages. Use hooks and clamps to attach technology and equipment to the trusses.

Hooks with full holding force for 4 point trusses

With four-point aluminum beams, you can create spectacular stages with stable frames and canopies or high sound and lighting towers. You install elements for opulent lighting effects and voluminous loudspeakers on them. Use truss hooks to attach high-quality technology and large stage sets or to firmly anchor additional supports and connecting parts in the structure.

What are the types of truss hooks?

Hooks

The category of hooks includes various helpers that you choose according to your needs. With theater hooks you install projectors or light effect devices on trusses with different diameters. If you need particularly high load-bearing capacity, the half-clamp hooks are the right thing. These can be loaded with a tensile force of up to 250 kg. If particularly fast handling is important, it is best to use our self-lock hooks. To suspend or cover the trusses, we have C-hooks in various colors, sizes and designs.

Half couplers

We carry a wide range of half couplers for fastening a wide variety of construction elements. Choose according to pipe diameter, load capacity and design. With our TÜV-approved half couplers, you can also securely and reliably fasten elements, components and technology at a later date. The large wing nuts enable installation in no time at all. Half couplers for trusses have a very high load capacity - they have a tensile force of up to 750 kg.

Double couplers

Double couplers are particularly secure fasteners for trusses, rods and tubes. They withstand loads of up to 750 kg. For tubes with diameters of 35 and 51 mm, you will find normal, 90°-fixed or 360°-rotatable double couplers in our store.

Clamps

With clamps like the universal Super Clamps, you have probably the fastest and most versatile helpers in exhibition and stage construction at hand. The individual pieces are used for the lightning-fast mounting of accessories on trusses, tubes and rods. They fit around poles of various diameters like firm claws. The necessary screws, wing nuts, snap rings or washers are included in the scope of delivery.
