Accessories for trusses
Truss accessories: Everything for stage construction
The innovative OnTruss construction series enables fast, safe stage construction with an ingenious assembly system that works only by plugging and sliding. It is not only very easy to assemble and disassemble, it also convinces with a bomb-proof hold and an aesthetic result.
What do I need to know about building stages with trusses?
Trusses are sturdy trusses made of aluminum, or more rarely steel, which are used for stage and platform construction. Depending on how many chord tubes a component consists of - one, two, three or four - it fulfills various valuable functions in construction: trusses support, hold and connect.
What are the trusses?
1 point trusses: 1 point trusses are poles used for connecting and supporting. Their load-bearing capacity is quite low. However, they help to strengthen the statics of vertical structures. You can place a light technical or decorative element, such as a spotlight, on them with pinpoint accuracy.
2 point trusses: These trusses span a truss between two support bars. They are used for the static construction of simple structures that can already bear certain loads. They are very popular for exhibition and stage construction because they are so versatile.
3 point trusses: Here, three tubes span spatially and thus create a lot of statics - for example, to build stably in height or to obtain loadable cross beams. They are popular for building outside corners on stands and stages.
4 point trusses: These components made of four tubes are the robust all-rounders in stage and exhibition construction. They offer full holding and support performance, even under high loads. At the same time, they score points with their low dead weight and convenient, intuitive assembly. With four-point beams, you can create strong stage roofs or solid ground support on any terrain in no time.
The OnTruss series: the most important accessories for trusses
Trusses are easy to assemble and hold securely thanks to their conical connection technology. To dress up the sturdy framework, make it even more functional or aesthetically pleasing, we offer various accessories that perfectly fit your truss construction.
OnTruss event boards
OnTruss trusses Floor Boards are designed for quick construction of simple and stable event furniture. Event boards work with all truss systems and you don't need any tools. The principle is simple: you build a basic framework of trusses and click the appropriate Event Board onto it in a few simple steps. This holds firmly and securely on the trusses so that people can sit, stand or walk on it without danger. Of course, constructions with these boards also bear all loads that may occur during stage construction, at a concert or on a theater stage.
Event boards are available in various sizes and shapes. So you not only build furniture such as seating or counters, but also cover the entire floor of the stage. Or you can form a rainproof roof on the upper part of the truss frame to protect the technology underneath. Just build around the corner with the padded hinge plates. There are no limits to your creativity - stage construction using the plug-in box principle!
OnTruss truss clips
But how do the event boards hold on the truss frames? The inconspicuous truss clips are small, sophisticated marvels. Each event board has standardized grooves on the underside. These run parallel to each other, just the right distance apart to fit on the trusses. Simply insert a half-moon shaped truss clip into the groove and turn it 90°. The small holding element is already anchored. Now insert truss clips at other locations in the grooves. Once the clips are attached to the board, all you have to do is click them onto the trusses. Finished is the bench, the bar table, the opaque barrier or the simple roof. With the Truss-Clips Safety you play it safe by securing the clips with an additional bracket after clicking them onto the trusses. And best of all, for flying structures it is very important that they can be dismantled quickly and systematically. The OnTruss system for truss accessories makes this possible. Detach the board from the truss again with a simple click, unscrew the trusses clips and stow everything away for the next build - ideally right away in an Event Board Transport Case.
Grip slats, board binders and profiles
So that you can easily plug different boards together flush, simply insert the black Grip-Slats as connectors into the side recesses. Push the boards together and you're done. For even more holding power, use the rubber board binders after pushing the boards together. These hold the boards securely together. After use, simply remove them again with the release tool. Furthermore, the construction series includes cover profiles for the front and back, which ensure a clean and user-safe finish.
