Special effects with bubble machines

DMX-capable

Professional bubble machines can usually be controlled via DMX (Digital Multiplex). The control protocol allows lighting technology and effect devices to react "intelligently" to musical and sound signals - including bubble production.

Large tank

Particularly powerful bubble machines have a large fluid tank for long bubble fun without refilling effort. This is especially advantageous for the pendant mounted units.

Color soap bubbles

How do bubble machines work?

The chemical side

A soap bubble is a delicate temporary structure in which a thin film of water can be blown into a spherical shape thanks to soap molecules. Air is enclosed inside. Earth's gravity causes the water in the soap bubble to "leak out." Thus, the soap bubble bursts at the top after a short time.

The technical solution

A bubble machine does the same thing as children with bubble fluid, only much faster: One or more rotating wheels dip the round reservoirs into the bubble fluid. A blower creates the bubbles and distributes them over a wide area.

Instructions for handling bubble machines

Bubble machines do not pose any great dangers. Nevertheless, you should follow some precautions when handling the devices:

• Keep the bubble fluid out of the reach of children.
• The bubble machine must be placed in a fixed location, also out of the reach of children.
• Should you choose battery or rechargeable battery operation, please disconnect the power plug.
• Use only special concentrate for bubble machines. Self-mixed soap suds are not suitable for this purpose.
