The MAUI® i1 was developed for acoustically demanding indoor venues where speech and music need to be clearly understood even in the rear sections of the seating area.
This acoustic property is achieved with nine 3" midrange drivers, two 1" neodymium high-frequency drivers and the specially developed BEM-optimized tweeter waveguide. The combination avoids unnecessary reflections from the floor and ceiling by keeping the vertical dispersion as narrow as possible and the horizontal dispersion as wide as possible.
The MAUI® i1 can be easily integrated into existing speaker systems with constant voltage. This is made possible by the 8-ohm/70-V/100-V selector switch. In addition, you can switch the power down to 60 W, 30 W, 15 W, or 7.5 W, depending on how many speakers are operated in parallel. At 8 ohms, you benefit from the best sound and the highest 120 W RMS power.
For outdoor use, the MAUI® is available with weather-resistant membranes, an aluminum speaker grille and a weatherproof cover for the connection plate, dust-tight and sealed to protect against water jets.
The multiple award-winning MAUI® series has been expanded to include the completely redesigned i1, which has been adapted to the special requirements of indoor and outdoor installations. And with the included U-bracket for wall mounting and the white and black color shades, it can be integrated unobtrusively and discreetly into almost any location.
