Electroacoustic systems are abbreviated as Ela systems and are an important component of safety technology. With the help of these systems, safety instructions, for example, are made known or important announcements are made. With an Ela system, the focus is particularly on the comprehensibility of the information being announced. The sound itself is secondary. It is important that the messages or instructions are understood. Typical applications for Ela systems are the classic voice alarm and public address systems for meeting or seminar rooms. The installation of the Ela system is often very complex. Various factors, such as the noise level of the environment, must be taken into account. For announcements in the noisy checkout area of a supermarket, different settings than those suitable for a quiet museum must therefore be selected.

The installations zone controllers distribute announcements to specific rooms or departments and ensure that the volume of the background sound is not the same everywhere. The controllers are available in mono and stereo versions or in different wattages.
