The XDJ-AZ adopts the layout and operation of the flagship CDJ-3000 and DJM-A9 to give you an intuitive experience. When you perform on the system, you feel like you're one with the decks, allowing for more creative performances. With full-size jog wheels that feel just like those on the CDJ-3000, pitch bending and scratching on the XDJ-AZ is incredibly smooth. The mixer section has adopted the intuitive layout of the DJM-A9, with all controls arranged for optimal operability. It also features user-friendly beat FX assignment buttons that let you let your music speak for you. So once you've mastered the XDJ-AZ, you'll be familiar with the workings and feel of club-standard equipment, making it much easier to deliver your best performances in clubs.

rekordbox CloudDirectPlay compatibility

Access your cloud-based rekordbox library directly from the XDJ-AZ with CloudDirectPlay. You can use the latest versions of your playlists and performance data, such as hot cue information, and even update them from the device. This not only ensures a seamless DJ experience, but also allows you to make all your preparations exclusively via your all-in-one system.

Compatibility with StreamingDirectPlay

With support for Beatport Streaming, the StreamingDirectPlay function allows you to play tracks directly from Beatport's huge dance music library and the latest genre-specific playlists. You even get analysis data such as waveform, BPM and grid information, so you can easily incorporate new and diverse music into your sets.

Comprehensive compatibility with devices and DJ applications

Not only can you play tracks from USB drives, you can also connect your PC/Mac or mobile device for DJ-ing. And if you want to express your individuality even more, you can play audio from external devices such as turntables and samplers. The device has a USB-C connection for PC/Mac, so you can use rekordbox for Mac/Windows in performance mode or Serato DJ Pro and don't need a paid subscription for either. And if you use the Wi-Fi® connection for rekordbox Link Export, you can conveniently access tracks from your PC/Mac or mobile device without plugging in cables.

Large touchscreen for seamless control, from track selection to performance

The XDJ-AZ's 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen not only gives you more visual information, but also makes it easier to control all functions. Up to 13 tracks can be displayed simultaneously - a huge increase on the 8 tracks of the XDJ-XZ - so you can see more of your music and find songs faster. Other advanced features include the Playlist Bank, where you can register up to 4 playlists for quick access, Touch Preview, which lets you preview tracks in playlists without loading them, and Touch Cue, which lets you preview the next section of tracks currently playing on the deck. All this makes track selection quick and smooth. With the option to display the status of the selected performance pad and beat FX settings simultaneously, you can instantly get the information you need for your performance.

Independent 4-deck playback: DJ-ing in your very own way

Whether you want to add more sounds to your mix, create live mashups, play back-to-back with another DJ or compile more tracks so you can play them at the perfect time, the XDJ-AZ's 4-deck playback support gives you the flexibility to work the way you like. You can also seamlessly integrate CDJs into your setup so you don't have to switch between decks. Thanks to PRO DJ LINK™ compatibility, beats and on-air information are synchronized between players, giving you full control.

Wireless monitoring with extremely low latency and SonicLink-compatible DJ headphones

Thanks to the integrated SonicLink transmitter, you can use the HDJ-F10 professional DJ headphones for wireless monitoring with extremely low latency. A single button press is all it takes to pair the XDJ-AZ with the headphones and you're free to move around the DJ booth or stage without getting tangled up in a cable or pulling on it. SonicLink is an ultra-low latency wireless technology developed by AlphaTheta. It transmits audio signals 20 times faster than the standard Bluetooth® SBC codec, so you'll never experience a delay between pressing a button or scratching with the jog wheels and hearing the sound at the output.

*The XDJ-AZ does not support wireless connection with the WAVE-EIGHT portable wireless DJ speaker.

Clear and dynamic sound

If you're familiar with the predecessor XDJ-XZ, you'll notice that the design of the XDJ-AZ has undergone some improvements. By integrating a 32-bit D/A converter from ESS Technology, the sound quality has been significantly improved to produce a clear and dynamic sound that can thrill even large venues and clubs.

3-band master EQ

You can also use the 3-band master EQ to adjust the output sound to the acoustic conditions of the venue.

Mixer settings

The appliance also has a special button for the blender settings so that you can quickly check and adjust the status of the blender on the screen.
