Good sound is expected everywhere – in hotel lobbies, conference rooms, schools and places of worship. At the same time, expectations are constantly rising, not only in terms of quality but also in terms of flexibility. Fixed installation and yet flexible? This apparent contradiction can be resolved with DSP-based systems such as the IPA series installation amplifiers.
The IPA 412 T is a professional four-channel installation power amplifier with 4 x 120 watts. While the 70V/100V outputs are equipped with high-quality toroidal transformers, the low-impedance 4-ohm outputs work completely transformerless to ensure the highest audio quality. The versatile DSP functions include parametric EQ with a matching speaker library, dynamics tools, a matrix mixer, priority source selection and delay.
Despite this functional diversity, the power amplifiers of the IPA series remain easy to operate. Important functions such as signal, limit, protection and bridge mode are easily visible via front LEDs.
HPF/LPF filter presets can be activated directly on the device via DIP switches. The IPA 412 T is already prepared for remote control using future LD Systems remote panels and paging microphones. A slot for optional expansion cards ensures future-proofing. The Ethernet card provides comprehensive configurability and control via software. The Ethernet+Dante card offers additional Dante audio networking capabilities and connection to a wide range of Dante-enabled devices, integrating the IPA 412 T into the Dante network and solving even complex sound reinforcement tasks.
Times may change; rooms may be reallocated or rededicated, numbers of participants may increase or decrease due to unforeseen events – but with the DSP-supported power amplifiers of the IPA series, your installation is prepared for all eventualities. Scalability and future-proofing are among the great advantages of the IPA series. Its energy efficiency is also exemplary, thanks to Class D technology and switchable auto standby.
The IPA 424 T variant with 4 x 240 watts is available for larger installations.
