G13 socket Illuminant - ready for use in all areas

Lamps with G13 sockets are used regularly, especially in the commercial sector, because they have a special illuminating power. Thanks to their tubular, very long construction, fluorescent lamps guarantee wide-area illumination of conference tables, offices, hallways, cellars and corridors of industrial areas. They are also used as lamps in public shops and facilities, for example in supermarkets or hairdressing salons.

LED socket G13 as an alternative

Like in other areas, the G13 fluorescent tube is also available as an LED variant. There are pre-selected LED illuminants for the G13 socket, which provide excellent, if not better, lighting performance without the use of environmentally harmful substances and will emerge as the clear winner in the G13 socket standard with their longevity and energy efficiency. G13 LED lamps fit into the G13 sockets of existing lamps. Of course, it is also necessary to look at the correct design of the replacement illuminant, as different G13 lights use different lengths of G13 fluorescent lamps. When switching from fluorescent lamp to LED, it is also important to check the specifications of the respective product to see whether it is compatible with the built-in ballast unit and starter. If all these requirements are met, switching from fluorescent lamps to LEDs can save between 50 and 60% energy - a great savings benefit.
